Banana Smoothie Ingredients: 

1 Banana 

3/4 Cup coconut water

1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/4 Teaspoon Cardamon

1/2 Teaspoon Honey 

1/4 Lime juice

 

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients together. Serve with ice and enjoy.

Notes for individual Doshas:

For Kapha: Substitute coconut water with apple juice.

For Pitta: Use maple syrup instead of honey. 

A note about banana: It’s okay to have banana as Kapha or Pitta, just don’t overdo it and eat it three times in a day. Everything in moderation, don’t eat it all of the time. If you are going to have a banana smoothie, I recommend also having it on an empty stomach for breakfast.
